SCCC is celebrating over four decades of serving Sebastopol and its neighboring Sonoma County communities. An entertainment, educational, and cultural hub, local residents have relied on the center to regularly deliver a rich and diverse set of body, mind, and soul enriching programs.
From the beginning, SCCC has hosted global visionaries and celebrated cultural icons. Accomplished artists, inspiring teachers, and dedicated staff generously share their works and skills here. Creativity comes alive here – passionate performances move us, wellness is cultivated, and curious minds are challenged. Above all, we take the greatest pride in nurturing the creative spark in our community’s youth—designing many of our music and cultural programs with them at heart.
A recognized 501(3)(C) non-profit organization, the Community Center is self-supported by donations, grants, fees, services, and fund-raising efforts. Community financial support is encouraged and appreciated. Oversight and direction come from a volunteer board of directors chosen from active, capable, and altruistic community members. We are enormously thankful to our donors and supporters, our partners who make this gathering place a home.
Activities and events range from spiritual maintenance to life-changing programs for children, adults, and families of every kind.
