Make A Difference - Join The SCC's Leadership Council
Founded in 1997, the Leadership Council members
were instrumental in raising the necessary funding to remodel
the Garzot Duffield Building. This building is now a licensed
pre-school, a home away from home for small children. It also
provides classroom space for after-school enrichment programs,
and our adult community can choose from a variety of courses
that range from Art to Yoga. This beautiful building offers space
to rent for workshops, meetings, birthday parties,
weddings, and other special occasions.
Additionally, the Leadership Council have helped in the remodel
of the Youth Annex, now considered one of the more beautiful
rental sites in Sebastopol. Again this building offers space to
rent for workshops, meetings, birthday parties,
weddings, and other special occasions.
The Leadership Council is made up of local citizens who have
made a significant monetary contribution to the SCC, and believe
in the sustainability of the Community Center. Because of the
generous donations made by this Council and others, the Community
Center continues to provide a myriad of programs, classes, camps,
special events, and fine music. Thanks to all those who believe
that the Community Center is an important link in the chain that
holds our community together. The Community Center needs your help,

Leave Your Legacy to help the Community Center
and to leave your vision of the future through a planned donation.
Your gift will help the Community Center thrive and prosper in the
future. The most common method is through a charitable gift in a
will or a living trust. Leave a percentage of your estate or a set
amount, donate cash, securities, real or personal property. Leave
life insurance policies or funds from a retirement account. Anyone
can leave a gift, and every gift given to the Center will insure our
future success and how we can better serve the community. A gracious
and loving gift is one made in the memory of a loved one or to recognize
someone who has made a difference in your life. If you do not state
your intention for your estate, without a will property is settled
according to state laws. If you are interested in leaving your legacy
and future vision with the Community Center call our office and speak

Become A Community Center Patron
Have you had a great experience at the
Community Center and want to spread that enjoyment to others?
We are now offering a creative opportunity for individuals,
businesses and organizations to pass along their great times to
donations geared for specific programs or projects.
Start a scholarship fund, sponsor a camp field trip, buy
books for Tiny Tots, buy a child a week of camp, buy a
kickboxing for a student, donate money for a student to
buy a drum, $120 buys a student a week of summer camp,
$45 can buy a series of classes in a variety of subjects. The
choices are endless.
Promote the programs that have captured your interests.
There is always financial need for classes, daycare and programs. Be notified of upcoming events by getting on our email list, just ask us! Click on scc@seb.org and write "add me to your list" in the subject line!
To be a “COMMUNITY CENTER PATRON” just mail us a check and
a letter noting the area of interest and how you want the
money to be allocated. A little can go a long way!
